The best thing about Personal Colour Analysis for me was being introduced to myself. I quite literally met the real me for the first time. More than how she could look, I saw who she could be. Meeting our real selves is so hard and until others see that person, they can't always meet us either. It takes time to step into those new shoes.
.
It surprises me today about myself and others, how far we're willing to go to not be ourselves, or how easily we're talked into the notion that it's somehow better. The road back offers a new beginning for our second, third, or 99th act. And several great awakenings, like the dawning realization that makeup in our own colours is easy and effective!
.
What came along a lot sooner was a way to look better than I ever had, and keep that going on my terms. I used to think that people who were into clothing colour were fashion insiders because the videos and posts are always in the How to and Style sections.
.
But I'm not that person and never will be. I'm an ordinary person who wants to look like the most real and true version of herself. If I’m between buying two sweaters, I want to know which one looks better on me.

Our Season colour palette shows us versions of every colour that look fantastic. Picturing ink colour swatches in the real world takes a giant step forward with these sets of 15 fabric examples.
.
The video above (also here at YouTube) explains how our Season is the collection of colours in the light surrounding us. The second segment explains the Test Drapes, which identify our Season among the 12. The third segment explains the Luxury Drapes from which these fabrics are taken. The final segment describes some of the uses of the Colours Sets, with much more detail in the post, Using the Fabric Colours Sets, also located under Shop > Fabrics for Seasons on this site.

By repeating the colours we are in everything we add, the synchrony channels our colour energy and our light comes into focus. Our visual impact is strong and calm at the same time. Which just happens to look magnificent.
