By comparison with Dark Autumn's flesh-tone of 'spicy rust', Queenie might be called 'purple rust'.
The matte application has the advantage of being long-wearing but like all matte products, the application is dry compared to creme formulations. My preferred application is to line the lips, apply Queenie without precision, and follow with a layer of lip balm (I use Organic CoQ 10.) Pressing the lips together two or three times distributes the colour beautifully and creates a defined yet natural mouth, reducing the opacity and adding healthy shine, with good balance between lips and the other features or cosmetics.
