In its remarkable duality, True Winter may be the simplest and most complex of Seasons. The key to success in wearing this palette revolves around contrast. The palette includes the full value range, from white to black. The scarcity of colour pigment in Winter neutrals creates the perfect setting for the brightness of the most beautiful cheek and lip colours.

Within any Season, many natural appearances are possible. Repeat what you are and what you like in makeup. If your appearance is medium in overall darkness (including all depths of complexion) or you feel best in a natural cosmetic look, you may opt for less drama by blending these shades together and avoiding extremes. If dramatic eyeshadow designs feel right, this palette will meet those needs.
