  1. Thanks Christine, l was brushing the wax on THEN applying the powder with a mascara wand. I’ll give it a try your way today.

  2. Hope you will do more makeup videos, Christine! I am also a DW, and was reassured to know that my ash brown eyebrow makeup is at the right heat level. I used hazel for a long time because it seemed to work when I had highlighted hair. Grew out the highlights and my eyebrows suddenly looked too warm. Ash brown is far more natural!

  3. Hey Christine,
I’m sure you’ve mentioned in previous videos, but can you say what eyeshadow/lipstick you’re wearing? You look amazing!

  4. I’ve been asked for lipstick, so that’s on the list, Jenny2. Eyebrow colour isn’t really matched per Season so much as by each woman’s brow colour. Ash Brown could find a home on most of the 12, but I’ve also seen it be too cool and/or pinkish on many. Like all cosmetics, the colour has to be tried along with 2 or 3 others to pick the best one.

Thanks, Pam. The eyeshadow comes from the Blueprints Dark Winter palette, which I mix and match differently every day. The lipstick always begins with Blueprints True Brit. In this video, I followed with Burberry Oxblood Sheer. That’s the usual. In the first of the Please No videos, I was trying Hourglass Nocturnal as the top layer. If you met me in person, you would see that the makeup (and me) are cooler and less saturated than the video shows. I’m pretty sure my hair is neither this warm or this pigmented (more silver). You’d have to ask people who know me though, I’m no more sure of how I look than anybody else is, meaning not very. It’s funny how variably the software treats certain colours. The shirt in the Please No Summer video looks about right. In the Please No Autumn video, the shirt is way more saturated than it is really is (a blue colour you’ll see in a week or two).
